The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management is designed to address the demands of senior project managers by providing a thorough understanding of the key topics required to manage business projects in a complex and ever-changing environment. This qualification will help students get a better grasp of both theoretical and practical elements of project, program, and portfolio management, as well as the necessary skills and competencies required for planning, monitoring, controlling, and delivering effective projects, programs, and portfolios. This level 7 diploma help students to progress to a Master level (Top-up programme) after completion of the level 7. Planning and defining scope, budgeting, time management, organizational skills and suggestions, communication, leadership skills, risk management, and contingency planning are all assured to be covered on the programme. - Advanced Research Methods (20 credits)
The qualification is designed to be delivered over 9-12 months for part-time study, but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate students who wishes to take breaks during semesters. The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online through the online portal.
For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management qualification, learners must possess:
- An honours degree in related subject or UK Level 6 Diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery center regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learner must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course
- English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.
The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their further study. As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are eligible to progress to Master’s top-up programmes at many universities in the UK and overseas with advanced standing.
